What aspect of your role in senior care do you find most fulfilling?

The most fulfilling aspect of my role in senior care is the deep connection I build with residents and their families. As long as I can remember, I have wanted to run a retirement community, and now I am living my dream job. I am passionate about senior care and find immense joy in making a positive difference in their lives. One particularly memorable moment was when we organized a family day event and seeing the smiles and hearing the laughter of residents with their loved ones reinforced why I love what I do. It's these connections and the ability to impact their lives meaningfully that truly make my work rewarding

I love the strong sense of community and belonging at Golden Pond. It's a place where everyone truly cares for one another, and that sense of camaraderie makes it feel like an extended family. I particularly appreciate how we celebrate each staff member’s contributions, no matter how small, making everyone feel valued and appreciated

How does your background or a particular skill benefit our team?

With my experience in organizational management and communication, I bring a structured yet compassionate approach to our team. My skills in creating clear guidelines and improving internal processes help ensure that we provide the best care possible while maintaining a smooth and efficient operation

What do you enjoy outside of work that contributes to your well-being or happiness?

Outside of work, I find joy and relaxation in several activities. Gardening allows me to connect with nature and find peace in nurturing plants. Horseback riding is another passion of mine, providing a sense of freedom and connection with animals. Additionally, I love spending time outdoors with my husband and our dogs. These activities not only keep me grounded and happy but also help me bring a sense of calm and balance to my role here
