How do I become a Golden Pond resident?

We would like to invite you to tour our community and enjoy a complimentary lunch in the dining room. You are always welcome to stop by our office at 1270 N Ford Street Golden, CO 80403 for a tour of the community, to inquire about availability, or to select your apartment style.

How long has Golden Pond been open?

Golden Pond Retirement Community has been an active member of the Golden community since 2004. We maintain strong connections to the community and foster relationships between our residents and the local schools, churches, and organizations. We provide our residents with a high-quality, active lifestyle based on the different care levels our community offers. We also offer and facilitate an easy transition to higher levels of care if needed.

What if my health changes and I need personal assistance?

Golden Pond is dedicated to serving residents who require assistance with personal care. This may include support with medication management, assistance with grooming and bathing, routine well-being checks, and personalized laundry services. We also provide support for daily activities, with a focus on comfort and safety, backed by 24-hour staffing and an emergency response system. Our assisted living services include three meals a day, weekly housekeeping and linen services, a host of planned activities, and scheduled transportation. For residents facing memory impairments, we have a specialized unit, ensuring each resident receives the compassionate and customized care they deserve.

What sort of apartments and amenities are available at Golden Pond?

At Golden Pond, residents can expect to find a variety of apartment styles suited to their preferences and needs. We have studios (with 3 layouts) as well as one and two bedroom options.

Where is Golden Pond located?

(Map Link) Our 130-unit apartment community (39 Independent Living Apartments, 76 Assisted Living and 15 Memory Care) are nestled just North of Downtown Golden and at the base of North Table Mountain. Our location is convenient to shopping, medical services, churches, and just a few miles from Downtown Golden and 15 miles from Downtown Denver. Close proximity to Highway 93 to Boulder and I70 to the mountains means you can quickly access our facility from almost anywhere along the Denver Metro and mountain communities. Our community features beautiful landscaping with well-manicured gardens, courtyards, ponds and walking trails.

Where is Golden, Colorado located?

Golden, Colorado, is located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, in the north-central part of the state. It's approximately 15 miles west of Denver, the state's capital. Golden is known for its picturesque scenery, outdoor recreational activities, and as the home of the Colorado School of Mines and the Coors Brewery. It's conveniently situated near major highways (93 and not far from i70 and access to the mountains), making it easily accessible from various parts of Colorado.
