April has arrived at Golden Pond Retirement Community, bringing longer days, warmer weather, and a renewed sense of energy throughout the community. As spring unfolds, this month is all about staying active, connecting with others, and enjoying meaningful experiences together.
A Special Highlight: Meet Olympic Athlete Tess Johnson
One of the most exciting moments this month is a special visit from Olympic mogul skier Tess Johnson, granddaughter of Golden Pond resident Kathy Frangos.
April 6 at 2:00 PM. Cody Room.
Tess will share her journey to the Olympics, along with stories, photos, and videos from her career. This is a unique opportunity to hear from an elite athlete and celebrate a special connection within our own community.

Wednesday Outings depart at 10:00 AM: April 1 - Trader Joe's / H-Mart; April 8 - Hobby Lobby; April 15 - Dollar Tree; April 22 - Walmart; April 29 - Denver West.
Special Breakfast Outing: April 29 at 8:00 AM - Snooze, an A.M. Eatery.
New & Ongoing Programs
Sunday additions include Scenic Drives on Sundays at 1:00 PM and Sit & Be Fit on Sundays at 10:00 AM in the Cody Room.
Special events include the 4th Annual Meadows Prom for Memory Care on April 17 at 2:00 PM and Wellness Class with Erin on April 28 at 10:00 AM in the Cody Room.
